Mr. Sachin Purohit, Managing Director
Mr. Sachin Purohit holds a Master’s Degree in International Management from Thunderbird, American Graduate School of International Management, USA. A proud recipient of the coveted P&U scholarship during his academic tenure at Thunderbird, he has also worked with several international companies of repute. With excellent leadership qualities, he guides the organization on all major policy matters related to business and expansion. Sachin also heads Resilient Cosmeceuticals and geneOmbio Technologies. Sachin has successfully led these companies over the last one decade.
Dr. Amol D. Raut, CEO and Chief R&D Consultant
Dr. Amol Raut is a postgraduate and doctorate in microbiology. He pursued his doctoral research under the Pune University-BARC collaborative research programme at Department of Microbiology, University of Pune and Food Technology Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai. His doctoral research was in the area of molecular microbiology and radiation biology, involving studies on molecular typing, host-pathogen interactions, radiation sensitivity and molecular mechanisms of antibiotic resistance in pathogens. Dr. Raut previously worked for Praj Industries Ltd., Pune as R&D scientist at Matrix-The Innovation Centre, the company’s R&D wing, for close to three years. At Praj, he was actively involved in designing, optimizing and scale up of fermentation processes from laboratory to plant level. Dr. Raut was R&D Project Leader (Fermentation) for Asia’s firstcane juice to ethanol plant, commissioned in India. Dr. Raut has a keen interest in the area of molecular microbiology, host-pathogen interactions and industrial fermentation processes. He is trained in the area of PCR-based detection of pathogens at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi. He also has received training and gathered experience in the field of Animal Tissue Culture at different institutes including NCCS, Pune. Dr Raut has published/presented more than 13 research articles in different national and international scientific journals and symposia, and has over 26 gene sequence submissions in the electronic domain for gene bank (NCBI). He has been involved in collaborative research work with different national research institutes. He is also thoroughly involved in training and education activities for graduate and postgraduate biotechnology students, for last several years. His academic activities involve delivering seminars/expert lectures, organizing hands-on training workshops for students, etc. He is responsible for entire research activity, implementation of diagnostic technologies in the company, development of newer ones, optimizing and establishing existing protocols and upgrading of existing technologies.
Dr. Kedar Joshi, Medical Director
Dr. Kedar Joshi has a vast experience in the field of Clinical pharmacology and medico-marketing for over 20 years and started working in Pharmacogenomics since last 5 years. He is Masters of Doctorate in Pharmacology. Currently he serves as a medical director at Resilient Cosmeceuticals, GeneOmbio Pvt. Ltd. , and Genetic Healing.
He also holds the position of Head of clinical operations at Hanul Medizin and Assistant Director clinical research at Institute of Infectious Diseases.
His area of research is Pharmacogenomics and Infectious diseases. He has attended many international conferences and having several national and international Publications.
Mr. Yashwant Chavan, Chief Technical Officer
Yashwant Chavan has close to nine years of experience in Molecular Biology and the Genomic Service Industry, having previously worked at Wockhardt Limited. He has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and is working towards his Doctorate. His research area is “Studies Advanced diagnostic tools for Study of Hepatitis B Virus genome.” At geneOmbio, he is involved in quality control, operations and research as well as developing test assays. Yashwant has been instrumental in obtaining the ISO 17025:2007 accreditation as well as other certifications for geneOmbio. He has published six research papers in international journals and has over 100 Genbank Nucleotide sequence accessions, to his credit.
